Summer Theatre Week 2022 Monday 22nd - Friday 26th August Ages: 12-15 SUMMER THEATRE WEEK WITH PADDLEBOAT FOR IMAGINATIVE 12 - 15yr olds. Come and create your very own performance inspired by Devon’s Spooky Stories. Join us for a week of haunting tales, gruesome ghosts, and weird whisperings from Devon’s darkest days. Polish your performing skills, build confidence and make friends in this fun filled week of creating and performing. The inventive Exeter-based company, which is known for its distinctive and playful approach to theatre, will guide a group through a week of storytelling, puppetry, music, design, acting and directing. This theatre week offers young people a chance to have fun creating with a team of professional artists to put together a piece of original drama. Hattie Brown, PaddleBoat Director said “Whether you’ve done lots of drama or this is your first time, this week will be jam packed full of games and stories for everyone to get involved with. I can’t wait to uncover Devon’s scariest stories!” At the end of the week, friends and family will be welcomed into Roborough Studios at the University of Exeter to watch the young people perform their show. Rehearsals will take place at Roborough Studio. PaddleBoat will be at the studio entrance to meet and greet young people and parents/guardians. Young people must be signed in when they are dropped off and signed out when they are picked up.
