Movement Director Call-Out: The Jolly Christmas Postman

We’re seeking a creative and collaborative Movement Director for our festive family production of The Jolly

Christmas Postman, created especially for young audiences and families.

Working with a small cast of three over a few rehearsal days, you’ll be responsible for shaping characterful,

physical storytelling moments that bring energy, humour, and heart to the show. Rather than traditional dance

routines, your focus will be on developing playful movement sequences, character physicality, and ensemble

work that supports the narrative and engages young audiences.

You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative rehearsal process alongside PaddleBoat Theatre Company and the

Northcott team, contributing to a joyful, fast-paced production—and helping us create a little Christmas

magic!

We are looking to employ someone for this role who is based in or has a meaningful connection to the South

West of England.

Key Details:

 Rehearsals: 4 days between 17th November – 15th December

 Fee: £825.92 (+ reasonable and agreed expenses)
